Efe started to work on a facility for the production of raki in 2002, with the removal of the state monopoly on the production and sale of distilled alcoholic beverages in our country.

Efe met with consumers first in Germany and then in Turkey in August 2004 and achieved sales success above the targets, with all production turning into sales within the first 6 months.

As Efe was so popular in the market, the production capacity was increased from 5 million liters to approximately 14 million liters per year in 2005 in order to meet the increasing demand.
